I'm a husband, a dad of three, and I've spent most of my life coaching.
I was born in Maine, spent years in Las Vegas training and coaching fighters at Extreme Couture, and eventually moved to Washington because it felt more like home.
Before running my gym, I worked as an electrician for about 10 years. Now I run In the Fight Grappling in Woodinville, where I coach kids, athletes, and families.
Coaching has been a big part of my life for a long time — and it's a big part of why this exists.
I've worked with pro fighters, beginners, wrestlers, jiu-jitsu athletes, and kids as young as three.
Across all of it, one thing is clear.
I struggled to sit still. I was put on medication at a young age just to get through it.
It helped me sit… but not much else.
Everything changed when I found wrestling.
That gave me structure, discipline, and people who pushed me.
That experience stuck with me.
I wanted my kids around the right people in the right environment.
Not perfect people. Just people who care.
That's what this is.
It shapes how I think about things like discipline, responsibility, and how we treat people.
At the same time, this is a place where different families can come together with mutual respect.
Talking. Hearing what they want for their kids.
If you're reading this and thinking:
"Yeah… this is more what I want for my kid…"
then the next step is simple.
Let's sit down and talk.
